Q: Are these shows
appropriate for the age group of my children?
A: Our shows are designed for, and are proven to work for, the K-8
age group. When we talk to you on the phone, we might guide you towards
one particular show we offer that season if you have an audience of
one particular grade or age level. The actors can (and do) adjust
their performances slightly to meet a particular audience's needs,
but no content or quality is ever compromised in this process.
Q: Is the content of these shows suitable for my children?
A: We are dedicated to performing children's stories well, and being
true to the authors intent (or in the case of Biograplays, being truthful
to the characters, events, and historical facts.) If we feel any issue
or segment of a story (fictional or factual) is inappropriate for
school age children for any reason, it is omitted from the play before
it goes out on the road. We value the simple ethical lessons taught
in every good children's story, among them; tolerance, honesty, kindness,
compassion, integrity, bravery, respect, patience, and prudence.
Q: Are there any other costs or fees involved?
A: No. Our one price includes everything. However, if your school
district or organization requires a "Named Insurance Document" (99%
of schools and libraries DO NOT require this) there is an additional
fee charged by our insurance company to process this document
for you.
Q: What do I need to do to make a booking?
A: Call us Toll Free at (800) 936-4723, and have your organization's
master calendar handy. We will work with your schedule and needs,
and our tour schedule, and find a good time to bring you a show.
Q: Can I get a discount?
A: ABSOLUTELY! If you book more than one show on the same day at your
school, OR you find another school in your area that would like to
book us, we will give you a 10% discount. If you are an organization
that wants to book a package of many shows in your area, we can usually
give you an additional discount on the total cost. If you are in an
area or school that is very seriously disadvantaged, and you want
one of our shows, please call us. We have a limited amount of grant
money available to bring a show to you.
